Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair Technician Programs
Automotive technicians perform diagnostics, service and repair on several automobiles and light truck systems. Engine repair, drive train, brakes, electrical, engine performance, steering and suspension are examples of systems covered. Special strengths of the program are the hands on labs where job preparation skills are developed. A mechanical aptitude, communication skills and an interest in the automotive industry are also important for success. Additionally the program prepares students for ASE certification.
