2013 Wisconsin Act 20, the state's 2013-15 biennial budget, required the Wisconsin Technical College System Board to implement a new formula for allocating a portion of general state aid to technical colleges based on outcomes identified in state statute.
This Outcomes-Based Funding structure remains in effect.
Allocating a portion of state funding for technical colleges through an Outcomes-Based Funding model helps to assure that state priorities are reflected in the work of the colleges.
