STURTEVANT — Gateway Technical College is offering training for the next generation of advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0 skilled workers for Certified Production Technician (CPT) and Certified Production Technician Plus (CPT+) certification through the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council.

FOND DU LAC — Moraine Park Technical College held its fall 2020 Manufacturing Skills Academy completion ceremony on Dec. 23 when nine students finished the program, four from Computer Numerical Control and five from Welding.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Aspirus and Northcentral Technical College have teamed up in an effort to give people the incentive, and the ability, to join the healthcare workforce as a certified nursing assistant.

EAU CLAIRE – The recruits in the Chippewa Valley Technical College Law Enforcement Academy that ran over 20 weeks through the summer and fall became an especially close-knit group. On Tuesday, Dec. 15, thirteen students graduated, qualifying them to serve as law enforcement officers in Wisconsin.

There are now two more members of the Manitowoc Police Department.

A new police officer is helping to patrol the streets of Lake Geneva.

"Students earn both Laconia High School and Fox Valley Technical College credit. I think this helps students realize that college - whether attending a 2-year or 4-year program - is a possibility. Some students can’t break out of their negative “I can’t do this” mindset, but once taking courses like this one, they see that postsecondary education is possible."
