Media Advisory: WTCS, UWS, WAICU to address potential changes to federal financial aid

Leaders from the Wisconsin Technical College System, Universities of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities will hold a joint news conference on Thursday, May 22, to address potential changes to federal financial aid programs.

WTCS President Layla Merrifield, Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman and WAICU President and CEO Eric W. Fulcomer will be joined by students who currently receive federal financial aid.

The news conference will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Madison College - Goodman South Campus, 2429 Perry St, Madison, WI 53713 in room 203. Media should be in place by 2:20 p.m. A mult-box will be available. WisconsinEye has been invited to provide live coverage.
